So we didn't compromise on either. Kundality runs genuine classical astrology, keeps none of your birth data, and never puts you on a subscription. Three deliberate choices — each one in your favour.

01 — Privacy
Your birth chart is never stored — not hidden, not anonymised, not kept.
Your date, time and place of birth can identify you more precisely than almost anything else about you. The usual playbook is to save all of it and build a profile that can be mined or sold. Kundality works the other way: your chart is computed live, used to answer you, and cleared when your session ends.
There is no birth-data table in our database to breach, subpoena, or sell — because the data was never written down in the first place. Sign-in uses a one-time email code, so we don't hold passwords either.
What this means for you: you get the full depth of a personalised reading with none of the long-term exposure. When you close the tab, the sensitive part is simply gone.
02 — Method
A rules engine does the astrology. The AI only speaks.
Ask most "AI astrologers" a question and a chatbot improvises an answer — which means it can confidently state placements and predictions that aren't actually in your chart. Kundality is built the other way around.
Your chart runs through a classical rules engine built on Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and Krishnamurti Paddhati — the same doctrine a trained astrologer applies — validated against thousands of real charts. Only once the rules produce a result does the AI step in, and its single job is to put that result into clear, readable language. It never decides what your chart says.
What this means for you: what you read follows the classical method, not a language model's guess. You get the warmth of a conversation on top of the discipline of the actual system.

The standard astrology-app model is a monthly fee that quietly renews whether you open the app or not. We didn't want that relationship with you.
