KP astrology (Krishnamurti Paddhati) is a precise, modern refinement of Vedic astrology built on the sub-lord and the Placidus cusp system. It is prized for sharp yes/no answers and event timing. Kundality reads your KP chart and explains what each cuspal sub-lord actually promises.
Each nakshatra is divided into nine unequal "subs" in the Vimshottari proportion. The sub-lord of a house cusp (or planet) is the deciding factor — it reveals whether a matter such as marriage, career or property is promised or denied. This granularity is why KP gives sharper predictions than sign-based methods.
KP uses the sidereal zodiac with the KP ayanamsa and the Placidus (cusp-based) house system, focuses on star-lord and sub-lord rather than sign dignities, and relies on significators and Ruling Planets instead of dozens of yogas. It is leaner and firmly event-focused.
When the birth time is unknown, KP can answer a specific question from a number you pick between 1 and 249, using Ruling Planets and the moment of asking.
The sub-lord of a house cusp; the houses it signifies determine whether that house's matters fructify.
KP is not "more accurate" so much as more granular and event-focused; many astrologers use it alongside Parashari for timing.
For a natal KP reading, yes — cusps are highly time-sensitive. For a single question, KP horary works without it.
The KP (Krishnamurti) ayanamsa, which differs slightly from the Lahiri ayanamsa used in Parashari.
Each reading uses 1 token, covering one full session — the reading plus reasonable follow-up questions while the session is active. When you sign up we may include some free tokens, depending on current promotions. Tokens are non-transferable and have no cash value. A reading is non-refundable once it is delivered. The only exception is a technical failure that stops the reading generating — the token is usually returned automatically, and if it is not, email [email protected] with a screenshot and we will review it.
